Dominenko N. Writer's epistles of English romanticists

In the dissertation the decision of the important scientific problem is presented. The research is focused on revealing the genre peculiarities of writer's epistles of English romanticists at the turn of XVIII - XIX centuries. The genre contents of the romanticists' correspondence realizing their integral model of the world are characterized. The genre poetics of the romantic letter is analyzed: its plot, composition, spatial-temporal, subjective-objective organization; the complex of literary devices, the dialectics of a real fact and creative fiction. The epistles of English romanticists are synthetic genre structures where prosaic and poetical fragments, plot sketching, dialogical stages are accumulated; life processes, the image of the author's soul are become visible. The belonging of these structures to the phenomena of lyrico-epic character functioning at the "joint" of documentary-publicist, artistic-psychological and literary-critical prose is proved.
