Essay

The present thesis is devoted to the comprehensive study of the evolution of piano expressiveness in the works of Ukrainian composers for chamber instrumental ensembles of the last third of the 20th century illustrated by the works of M. Skoryk, E. Stankovych, V. Silvestrov. There were characterised the regularities and features of the piano party expressiveness evolution in the context of this genre. It was accomplished for the first time in Art Studies the periodization of the process of formation and development of Ukrainian chamber instrumental ensembles. It have been determined the stylistic features of the genre in the works of Ukrainian composers of the twentieth century.There were studied and systematized the dominant stylistic features of the piano parties of the works of M. Skoryk, E. Stankovych, V. Silvestrov for chamber instrumental ensembles, traced the links with traditions and modern trends in the piano expressiveness and interpretation of piano facture in the works of these authors.
