Essay

The work is dedicated to the problem of improving the accuracy of computer processing of tracer images for the experimantal determination of velocity fields with the Particle Image Velocimetry method and reducing the requirements for the expirement. The new information technologies based on optimization of the reconstructed frame is elaborated which provides improved accuracy of flow analysis in case of large local velocity gradients.
