Defined are the mechanisms of symbolization of policy, among which the following are singled out in particular: discursivization, mythologization, theatralization, ritualization, carnivalization which increasingly find expression in the mass culture, alongside with virtualization of political reality that acquires important means of symbolization of policy. Outlined are the place and significance of symbolization in the development of the political process in Ukraine, where the achievement of political order determines the primary need for transformation of symbolic reality of society.
