Pleshko S. Improvement of the working mechanisms of circular knitting machines

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of working bodies (needles and wedges) of circular knitting machine mechanisms to improve the efficiency of circular machines by reducing the dynamic loads caused by the interaction of needles with wedges. The basic directions for improving existing and developing new designs of needles and wedges of circular machines have been presented. The author has considered the dynamics of needles interaction with wedges. The theoretical foundations and engineering methods for designing of knitting machinery, increasing the efficiency of circular machines (machine productivity and quality of knitted fabric) has been substantiated. New designs of needles and wedges of circular machines have been offered. The author has conducted the experimental research and production testing of a new needle design and its performance.
