Dissertation is devoted to the solution of an important issue of modern pediatrics - improving efficacy of restorative treatment of frequently ill children with MVP by using complex regimens with differential use of electrosleep procedures and mildronate electrophoresis with assessing the state of the cardiovascular and vegetative nervous systems. Complex clinical, instrumental and laboratory examination of 138 children with MVP, aged 6-16 was conducted. Presentation, concurrent conditions and clinical symptoms were analyzed in children with MVP aged 6-16. Changes in functional parameters of the cardiovascular and autonomous nervous system and laboratory findings were determined and analyzed. A connection was established between the degree of changes in echocardiography, ECG, cardiointervalography parameters and acute respiratory infections morbidity. It was established that the main clinical and functional characteristics of MVP worsen with increase in acute respiratory infections frequency. Taking into perspective the established changes, complex treatment strategy was established, advisability of including electrosleep and mildronate electrophoresis into the restorative treatment plan for frequently ill children with MVP. Efficacy of such treatment was proven regarding the correction of functional state of the cardiovascular and autonomous nervous systems.
