Thesis is devoted to the scientific research of the disciplinary responsibility of the state servant, the condition of its legal regulation and to the process of making suggestions concerning the state service institute improvement. There was analyzed the state of scientific researches of the disciplinary responsibility. The disciplinary responsibility of the state servant was defined as administrative-legal category. There were defined the definition, special features and principles of the disciplinary responsibility of the state servant.
