The author substantiates the theoretical and methodological foundations of institutionalization of state regulation of economic security Crimea and on this basis identified priorities for improving the efficiency of the mechanism mentioned in today's state. An author's definition of "institutionalization of state regulation of economic security in the region", which is seen as a complex process of creation (modernization, improvement, etc.) components of the mechanism of their formation and interaction with certain principles, using the legal framework for the effective functioning of the mechanism indicated in the context of the economic security of the region.
