The object of study: the investment activities of institutional investors; Objective: To further develop the theoretical propositions, methodological support and practical guidance on the provision and use of resources, investment by institutional investors; research methods and apparatus: a systematic approach, graphic, regression analysis, expert methods, analysis and synthesis of theoretical generalization; theoretical and practical results: some recommendations for ensuring the establishment and functioning of the Guarantee Fund investments of investors - individuals who carry out investment, in particular through investment funds; The system of basic requirements for the composition and structure of the investment resources of institutional investors (investment funds), the difference of which is accounted for by each of them specific use of financial market instruments (government and corporate securities, money market instruments and other assets not prohibited by law) to create different types of investment funds; methodical approach to the definition of the main criteria for assessing the financial condition of institutional investors (pension funds); Classification of institutional investors on the proposed addition is theoretically sound and practically meaningful classification basis of "qualified investor"; system of quantitative and qualitative indicators of prudential assessment of the financial and economic condition of institutional investors on the basis of formed groups of regulatory solvency ratios and financial stability, risk of the investment portfolio; limits the time period, the minimum required amount of accumulated investment resources vnovsozdannogo state pension fund; the degree of implementation: development applied in the work of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance and Banking Department of the professional expertise of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the State Commission for Regulation of Financial Services Markets of Ukraine; Areas of use: investment activities of institutional investors.
