Essay

The quantum theory is developed for the electronic tunneling through the open plane multi-layer nano-structures placed into the weak as well as into the high frequency electromagnetic fields with arbitrary intensity. Using the developed theory, the properties of nano-RTS as an active bands of separate cascades (without the electric field) of quantum cascade detector and quantum cascade lasers with different depths of potential wells without the electric field and with the constant depth of wells in constant electric field are investigated. Using the exact solutions of one-dimensional Schrodinger equation, the quantum theory of electronic transport through the nano-resonance structures in high frequency electromagnetic fields with arbitrary intensity and frequency is developed.
