Essay

Philosophical and ontological understanding of communitarian law of the European Union is revealed, and its philosophical and legal understanding is explained as a part of a mechanism of regulation of continuum of interests and needs of a superpower legal community. The potential resources of communitarian law in recreation and development of political and economic legal space of the European Union are clarified; the main principles of communitarian law are defined. It is also grounded social and psychological essence of communitarian law that lies in keeping national features of legal mentality of the states-members of the community and has the influence on the formation of a new type of the European legal culture.
