The aim dissertation work is generalization of theoretical and methodological foundations the development of rural tourism as a factor in the economic revitalization of the population and development of scientifically-methodological and practical recommendations for preconditions of formation and effective functioning of green tourism in rural areas Khmelnitsky region. The scientific novelty the obtained result is to justify the theoretical and methodological foundations the development of rural tourism and develop practical recommendations to activation the economic activity of the rural population in order to increase his social status, namely: for the first time soundly methodical approaches to the evaluation of opportunities functioning of the industry in the region considering its recreational resources and features of investigated territory by calculating the integral index development of rural green tourism, including agro-tourist attractiveness index; developed a program of rural tourism in Kamenets-Podolsky district of Khmelnitsky region; improved principles of classification of rural green tourism according to the research area; terminological apparatus of rural green tourism; were further developed forecasting methods of the development of rural green tourism industry, tested on the example of Kamenets-Podolsky district of Khmelnitsky region.The practical significance the obtained results lies in the fact that their use plays an important role in development of rural areas and of rural green tourism at them in socio-economic development of villages and districts of regions.
