The object of study is a set of economic relations developing in the functioning and reform of the pension system population. The aim of the thesis is to improve the theoretical and methodological guidelines on the content and structure of the plan and the development of practical recommendations for reform. Methods: the theoretical and methodological basis of the research was fundamental assumptions of economic theory, laws and regulations, proceedings of leading domestic and foreign scholars in the field of Research operate and welfare reform. Thus, scientific novelty of the research presented set of theoretical, methodological and practical results, especially for the first time: defined and the necessity of calculating pensions differentiation will provide more objective results on their size, the efficacy pension by the integral index, calculated on the coefficients: fees, financial balance, efficiency rate bias, social justice, protection from inflation which provides a separate description of the pension system: coverage contributions, financial stability, sufficiency, social justice, sustainability.
