Rudnytska G. The process parameters substantiation and mechanization means working out for spring frosts orchards protection

Dissertational research deals with solving scientific problem directed to strengthen the protection of generative organs of fruit trees in orchards against radiation frosts by the mechanized protection means working out. Maintenance of required thermal conditions are being provided by creation of insulating veil consisting of both heated and humidified air. The heat balance mathematical model for orchard, enabling to define heat energy amount needed to maintain specified temperature mode taking into account both heat and mass transfer interference from generative buds surface, has been improved; the design parameters as well as device operation mode providing specified temperature have been substantiated. The effectiveness of the developed device has been confirmed by the results of experimental research and economic calculations.
