Essay

The dissertation is devoted to determination of rational parameters of working equipment of soil puncturing plants with the purpose of increasing the efficiency of creating horizontal wells by the combined method. The analysis of modern trenchless technologies of subsurface utility engineering has been carried out and the most effective methods of developing horizontal wells under motor-roads in urban area tight working space have been determined. A new combined method as well as equipment for creating horizontal wells has been suggested. Theoretical dependencies of changing of soil resistance for different technological operations at creating horizontal wells have been obtained. The processes of the upper soil layer destruction have been studied, which allows determining a minimal depth of staking a well with regard to its diameter and physical and mechanical properties of soil. Experimental field tests of the soil puncture plant full-scale specimen and its working equipment have been conducted. The computation algorithm of parameters of the soil puncture plant working equipment has been suggested and rational field of application has been determined.
