The object of the research is A. de Saint-Exupery's literary works. The target is to trace the evolution and point out the specific character of A. de Saint-Exupery's philosophic and ethical conception based on Nietzscheanism and Christianity. The methods used are as follows: method of analysis of literary integrity, historical and literary method, hermeneutical approach, motif analysis, comparative analysis. The present thesis traces the evolution and points out the specific character of A. de Saint-Exupery's philosophic and ethical conception based on Nietzscheanism and Christianity. The extent of the previous study of Nietzschean and Christian components in A. de Saint-Exupery's works by foreign experts in Study of Literature as well as by ones in our country has been examined. The specific features of the reception of Nietzschean philosophy in France in the first third of the XXth century has been analyzed. Nietzschean motives and means of their embodiment in A. de Saint-Exupery's prose have been singled out and analyzed. The role of the Christian component in the way A. de Saint-Exupery's artistic worldview was formed has been defined, and the specific character of this component's interaction with Nietzschean motives has been disclosed. The thesis also demonstrates the artistic and philosophic wholeness of A. de Saint-Exupery's legacy. The sphere is academic process.
