Research object: development of rural territories. Research purpose: development of theoretical and methodical positions, practical recommendations in relation to the choice of methods of economic diagnostics of development of rural territories. Research methods: deductive; empiric-statistical, factor analysis; complex, rating estimation. Theoretical results consist in development of conceptual principles of the methodical providing of economic diagnostics of development of rural territories, directed on the improvement of quality of process of estimation, increase on this basis of efficiency of management rural territories. Practical value - substantive theoretical provisions are taken to the level of methodical developments and practical recommendations on determination of methods of economic diagnostics of development of rural territories. Drawn on research results: By the department of finances of Kirovograd regional state administration; By the financial management of Kompaneevsky of state administration of the Kirovograd area; Soloncevatsky by village Soviet of Bobrinecky of district of the Kirovograd area; by a private enterprise "Agrofirma "Slavutich"; by the physical person-businessman of "Savelev Dmitry Anatoliyvich", city Kirovske to the Donetsk area. The complex estimation of level of development of rural territories is given and the factor analysis of their development is conducted.
