Ruban Y. Organizational and economic principles of exchange of futures trading on agricultural markets

The thesis is devoted to the study of theoretical, methodological and practical issues of exchange of futures trading on agricultural markets. Stages of development, nature and functions of futures contracts were determined, calculation particularities of margin calls to ensure compliance between counterparts were given. The main trends of futures trading in foreign countries were analyzed, a comprehensive assessment of exchange key performance indicators were made. The analysis of the domestic market trading of agricultural products was provided. In the thesis were described the methods and evolution of agricultural futures trade. The recommendation of assessment of volumes of agricultural futures trade based on interest in hedging and speculative operations was given and forecast of potential volume of agricultural futures market in Ukraine was made.
