Dembitskiy O. Clinical-experimental substantiation of prosthetics large defects of dental rows with overdentures.

In the dissertation have been presented the variant of solution to the question of increasing the efficiency of prosthesis of patients with the large defects of dental rows due to making of overdentual prosthetic appliances with the combined system of fixing. With the help of mathematical calculations reasonable optimal shape and dimensions of intradental attachment (patrix part). Identified and systematized testimony to the possibility of preservation of single roots and teeth, suitable for use as supports and fixation elements of overdentures. Developed and tested the content and sequence of clinico-laboratory stages of the manufacture of the proposed design of the casing of the prosthesis. Studied the degree of restoration of chewing function when using them, defined terms of adaptation to overdentures with combined fixation system. Functional effectiveness of prosthetics according to the proposed method is supported by the data of electromyography. Shorting of adaptation term, lowering of a number of denture corrections accessibility of the method and satisfaction of patients with the results of prosthetics allow to recommend the improved technology to be inculcated into practice.
