Essay

Thesis is devoted to research of employee's encouragement in the conditions of market economy in Ukraine. The paper analyzes the labor laws of Ukraine, international acts, local acts of enterprises in Ukraine and some other countries. The definitions of "encouragement", the place of encouragement in the legal regulation of labor are considered. The principles and functions of encouragement are researched and analyzed. Historical analysis of the formation and development of legal regulation of encouragement in labor law is conducted. Particular attention is paid to labor relations in encouraging employees to work in good faith. Reasonable classification, subjects of these labor relations, the need to consolidate the procedural rules applying incentives in labor legislation of Ukraine are given and argued. The classification and the effectiveness of application of different forms of encouragement in practice are researched. Concrete proposals about improving legislation of employee's encouragement in a market economy were formulated.
