The dissertation is devoted to an integrated study of a forensic technical and criminalistics expertising of documents, modern potential of study and development prospects. A forensic technical and criminalistics expertise of documents is scheduled when investigating different crimes: thefts, frauds, economic offences, counterfeiting etc. and makes up 4% of total number of carried out criminalistics expertises in the expert units of the State Forensic Research Center, The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and 20% in the units of the Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
