Essay

The analysis of the dependence of Rashba coupling constant on the quantum-well is carried out. The Keldysh technique for non-equilibrium processes is developed to investigate transport properties of magnetically-polarized electron systems. The electric current in a magnetic quantum wire with sharp domain is studied. The decrease of magnetoresistance with increasing Rashba spin-orbit interaction are demonstrated. The corresponding change of the magnetic susceptibility in two-dimensional systems due to Rashba spin orbit interaction are shown. The generation of spin current in quantum wells in the presence of random Rashba spin-orbit interaction in the case of ordinary (100) and the case of GaAs (110) quantum wells is studied.
