Lituchyi V. Substantiation of technological solutions on reduction of land disturbance in surface mining of horizontal deposits

The thesis is devoted to substantiation of technological solutions on reduction of land disturbance in the development of horizontal fields related to the formation of mined-out area by substantiation of opening technology, direction of mining opera-tions, as well as the optimal profile of non-working sides. There was carried out an research for determination of the influence relation between the horizontal fields opening technology and indicators of land disturbance taking into account their changes depending on a cover thickness. The technical ap-proach to optimization of profiles of non-working sides of open pits was also im-proved; its peculiarity consists in taking a side of real stepped profile. Suggested joint iterated solution of two assisting optimization tasks allows determining rational pa-rameters of non-working sides of an open pit, application of which allows decreasing land disturbance in open pit mining. The method of profiles optimization of non-working sides of open pits allows reducing the amount of overburden operations while setting non-working sides for 17 % at "Pivden" and "Pivnich" open pits.
