The object of study - state regulation of social protection of servicemen in Ukraine. The purpose of research - theoretical and methodological rationale for foundations and development of practical guidelines for the development of mechanisms of state regulation of social protection of servicemen in the context of the modernization of social and economic development of the country. Methods of research - dialectical, abstract logic, induction and deduction, scientific generalizations, complex economic and statistical analysis, comparison, system analysis. The practical significance of these results is that they can be used in a wide range of scholars and scientists who in the government solve complex issues related to the state regulation of social protection. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first methodological approaches for conducting an information monitoring system reform of social protection of servicemen based on the use of new methods, tools and principles of state regulation of social protection of servicemen developed in Ukraine. Implementation of the evaluation of the effectiveness of state regulation of social protection of servicemen in the implementation of innovative forms and methods of state regulation in the departmental medical and social insurance of servicemen, their cash collateral, the financial and economic mechanism of reforming social protection of servicemen in the direction of the revision of the structure of money for military personnel and implementation of marketing strategies ensuring the social protection of servicemen in the departmental medical and social security improved. The nature and content of the concept of social protection of servicemen based on the harmonization of social need and resource availability States to support a specified category of citizens; conceptual approaches to the definition of the mechanism of state regulation of social security, the features of its methods and principles, legislation, legal, economic, social, administrative and organizational elements that are able to ensure effective implementation and, unlike the existing ones, linked to the economic, financial, social opportunity for the country to reform the system of departmental medical, social security of servicemen and their cash collateral, legal framework and legal regulation of social protection of servicemen on the basis of summarizing the features regulatory framework of the international, national and institutional levels in the transition from a paternalistic model of social security of servicemen in the social market model of socio-economic development have been further developed.
