Essay

Object of research - the young Scots pine trees, infected by Heterobasidion annosum (Fr.) Bref.), Armillaria mellea (Vahl.) P. Kumm., Melampsora pinitorqua (Br.) Rostr. and Lophodermium pinastri (Schrad.) Ch?v. in Western Polissja. Purpose - to study the morphophysiological reaction of young pine trees infected by phytopathogenic fungi in Western Polissja. Methods of research - forestry, electrophysiological, mathematics and statistics, the method of light microscopy, spectrophotometric analysis, method of weighting. Scientific novelty. For the first time investigated the morphophysiological changes of young pine trees infected by Heterobasidion annosum (Fr.) Bref.), Armillaria mellea (Vahl.) P. Kumm., Melampsora pinitorqua (Br.) Rostr. and Lophodermium pinastri (Schrad.) Ch?v. in Western Polissja. The changes in morphological-anatomic, physiological-biochemical and electrophysiological indices in Scots pine caused by infection of fungal diseases were investigated. Vitality of pine trees depends on the degree of infection and the type of phytopathogens. The low physiological-biochemical and bioelectric activity observed in plants infected by Heterobasidion annosum and Melampsora pinitorqua or Lophodermium pinastri with high level of infection. The research results show that forest enterprises should use the morphophysiological indices for pine tree disease diagnosis, selection of resistant forms of woody plants and creating the biologically sustainable plantations. Industries: Forestry.
