The research object is anemia in patients with rheumatoid arthritis; the goal is optimization of diagnosis and treatment of anemia in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Methods are: clinical, biochemical, instrumental, statistical. Novelty: it is defined connection between the rheumatoid arthritis activity and different types of anemia. It is established the method of differential diagnostic and treatment of anemia in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. It is introduced into the practice work of Institute of urgent and recovery surgery named by V.K. Gusak, Donetsk, Central Hospital of Ordzhonikidze district, Zaporizhzhya, Rudnichna Clinical Hospital, Makiivka, into the pedagogical process of Donetsk, Luhansk medical universities, Zaporizhzhya postgraduated medical academy.
