The object of study is the investment activity at the meso level. The aim of the study is to deepen the theoretical and methodological foundations of planning and investment regulation at the meso level and develop practical recommendations for its activation. Theoretical basis of the research was the work of domestic and foreign scholars in the field of planning and management of investment activities at the meso level. We used the following research methods: dialectical and historical analysis and synthesis, comparison, structural, economic and statistical analysis, correlation and regression analysis, logic synthesis and strategic analysis, graphical methods and so on. The results contribute to the improvement of theoretical positions and methodological approaches to planning and management of investment activities at the meso level. Justification of applied position allow you to develop investment map meso level, which requires investors to make investment decisions, effective planning, regulation and stimulate investment. Scientific novelty of the results is to improve theoretical positions and methodological approaches to planning and management of investment activities at the meso level and develop practical recommendations for its activation. The results have been used in local government and in the classroom LSAF.
