Yahya T. Methods for improvement of monitoring quality in sensor networks

Object - processes of monitoring in wireless sensor networks (WSN). Purpose - WSN classification according to their practicable application methods, development of methods for building and functioning of these networks. Methods - system analysis, mathematical statistics, theory of random processes, communication theory, waiting-line theory, statistical methods of decision making, neural network methods, radio wave propagation, full-scale and computer experiment. Results - MAC-level planned protocols are improved to ensure more efficient energy-saving electrical power supply technologies at specified probabilities of monitoring coverage; MAC-level competitive protocols are improved, sensor nodes service procedure is upgraded by means of self-ogranization in the course of electrical energy consumption optimization; further development of energy saving methods at the time of routing tasks solution, which novelty comprises justification of rational choice of routing protocols, including nodes localization; further development of monitoring signals processing methods.
