Misula J. The structure and dynamics of cognitive disorders of patients with paranoid schizophrenia in the process of treatment with classical and atypical neuroleptics

The dissertation is devoted to the actual problem of studying the structure and dynamics of cognitive disorders of patients with paranoid schizophrenia in the process of treatment with classical and atypical neuroleptics, clarification of some patterns of symptoms formation in this pathology and optimization of the treatment. The results obtained in the study provide an opportunity for the differentiated approach to the treatment of patients with paranoid type of schizophrenia, depending on the structure of cognitive impairment. For patients with memory disorders - amisulpride has to be recommended, in order to improve the processes of switching the attention - amisulpride and risperidone, and to enhance concentration, intellectual ability and logical conceptual thinking - olanzapine has to be recommended.
