Essay

Dissertation is devoted the problem-solving of nonwaste deleting of local surface defects of ingots from alloys on the base of titan, wich are getting by the methods of the special electrometallurgy. It is shown specifically to achieve penetration depth of 10 mm can be achieved by changing the linear speed of moving of focal spot at a constant power density of electron beam heating above 4.5 W/mm2. The technological regimes, developed and implemented in production technology resource of electron-beam melting of the surface layer of titanium alloy ingots, and the yield ratio of metal increased to 15%, depending on the ingots size. Special-purposed electron beam furnace for ingots surface remelting is designed, made and successfully operated. Keywords: electron beam surface remelting, ingot surface, titanic alloys, evaporation, alloying element, fusion penetration, power density of heating.
