Samoylov O. Globalization as a cultural-historical phenomenon: a synergetic approach.

The thesis is devoted to the comprehensive analysis of globalization as a cultural and historical phenomenon using a synergistic approach. It was established that today, globalization has become one of the most influential forces determining the future course of development of our planet as a whole. Whatever belonged to the globalization of its opponents and supporters, we must admit that it has clearly changed the world system, giving rise to new problems and opening up new possibilities. One of the major issues associated with the phenomenon of globalization is now a question of who stands to benefit from globalization? Challenges of globalization are very much affected Ukraine. In the 1990's, Ukraine was mainly in the position of the object and victim of globalization, the Ukrainian society felt the shock effect of the negative consequences of the forced inclusion in the global process and failed to really protect their interests.
