Object of research - ppatients with liver metastases. A research objective: to increase the effectiveness of the palliative treatment of patients with metastatic liver disease by using the combined method, which includes 2-4 courses of systemic chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, histological, statistical processing of results. Novelty: the first to demonstrate that the method developed teleirradiation mode superfractionation dose radiation with radiosensitizing can significantly increase the one-year, two-year and three-year survival, to achieve a high level of performance of total or partial response and stabilization process, improve the quality of life of patients. Results: Application of this method of treatment of patients with liver metastases of the research group significantly improved their survival: one-year - up to 34,5± 4,27%, two-year - up to 14,7 ± 7,3% and three years - up to 10,5 ± 8 1%, the median survival was 1,37 ± 0,17 years. Introduced in "Donetsk Regional Antitumor Center", "Oncology Center of Mariupol", "Regional Clinical Oncology Center of Dnepropetrovsk".
