Dissertation is devoted to the research of the features of forming of nonverbal communicative means in the preschool children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, study of conditions and developing a special method of forming those features. The dissertation describes the psychological meaning of nonverbal component of communication in children with ASD in both familiar and unfamiliar conditions. The research enabled finding qualitative differences in the features of nonverbal communicative means in preschool children with ASD compared to children with mental retardation of the same age. The experiment proved the efficiency of the special method of phased forming of nonverbal communicative means in preschool children with ASD.
