Derevyanchenko N. Problematics and poetics of Michel Houellebecq's novels

The thesis presents the result of the complex analysis of problematics and poetics of Michel Houellebecq's novels. The artist's person and works have been considered in the context of ideal-aesthetic surches of French literature of the end of XX - the begining of XXI centuries. It was determined the genre definition as a new menippea. It has been determined the specific of artistic realization of problems of the death, crisis of family values, sexuality. It has been shown that the menippea is a wide range of poetical methods. It has been identified the originality of new menippea's poetics on the different levels of the text (on the level of representation of artistic space, in the personage system, narrative structure, intertextual level). The character of features of hybridization poetics of the elitist and the popular literature in M. Houellebecq's prose have been revealed.
