Manivchuk V. Ways to improve the railway transport enterprises

The object of study: the process of regulation of international and internal transport within the national economy of Ukraine. The purpose of the study: theoretical rationale and framework for the development of proposals improve the efficiency of rail transport companies through the introduction of the combined modes of transport needed to create a mechanism of comprehensive economic assessment of the efficiency of container and intermodal transport. Methods: economic and mathematical modeling, correlation and regression analysis, statistical analysis, graphical, logical generalization, of abstraction and generalization. The practical significance lies in suggesting the use of combined rail-road transport modes to enhance the operation of railway transport as well as the Ukrainian economy as a whole. Scientific novelty. First the theoretical foundations and the model of integrated assessment of the efficiency of container transport on the basis of transport logistics scheme involving several modes of transport management strategy which the operator of multimodal and intermodal transport. Thesis results are used in the work of the State Enterprise "Southern Railway", as well as in the educational process of the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport.
