Essay

Developed technology is founded on the contact precipitation of silver powder by magnesium shaving. Possibility and conditions of processing of mother solutions after the separation of silver powder in concomitant valuable products as potassium nitrate and bischofite are proved. It is suggested to obtain potassium nitrate by conversion of mother solutions of magnesium nitrate with a hard potassium chloride and precipitation in a hard phase by organic salting-out agent of selective action. Executed material, thermal, technological and economic calculations make it clear that the obtained silver powder has the low prime cost.
