Maximenko P. Improving the diagnosis and choice of treatment of orthopedic defects of dentition in patients with periodontal disease

For the first time in the differential diagnosis of periodontal disease is proposed and used the method of laser correlation spectroscopy oral fluid, which allows objective evaluation of periodontal tissues and to determine the direction of the pathological process. It is established that the nature of male-shift saliva of patients depends on the severity of the pathological process in the periodontium. Developed and clinically tested a complex method of integral assessment of the periodontal tissues of patients with prosthetic various defects of dentition, including the performance of laser correlation spectroscopy of oral fluid. Improved algorithm of evidence and the use of different prosthetic patients with periodontal disease to replace the small and medium-sized defects of dentition, depending on the severity of the pathological process in the periodontal tissues, improves the quality of prosthetic dental care due to the choice of a rational design based on objective data.
