Naumenko M. Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations at the present stage (1991-2010).

Thesis is dedicated to the comprehensive study of the history of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations 1991-2010 period. We justify the periodization of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani political, economic and humanitarian relations. The scope, content, priority areas of relations at each stage are defined by the basic agreements on cooperation and its results. The research of the features of the development of bilateral relations allowed to determine the time when the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation has reached the level of strategic, factors positively influencing the process or hindering it. The latter include the long-running issue of implementing the project on the use of the pipeline "Odessa - Brody" to transport Caspian oil to the European market. It was determined that the process of the strategic partnership was carried out under the influence of internal and external factors. Revealed a positive dynamics of trade, transport and energy, investment cooperation. Identified the key trends of interstate relations, which have allowed to realize the great potential of cooperation in education,
