Fedotova A. Legal regime of lands for river and sea transportation of Ukraine

The dissertation is based on the analisis of land law legal doctrine and land law of Ukraine as well as forieng legislation. The irrationality of identifying lands for river and sea transportation based on subjective criteria is shown. The author is of the opinion, that, if necessary, the legislation can establish a specific legal regime for certain land parcels used for river and sea transportation, which will be not homogenous. For the purposes of legal doctrine (to systematize the information on the legal regime of the land) it is reasonable to identify as lands for river and sea transportation only those lands which need a specific legal regime. The dissertation highlights the legal regime of certain types of land parcels used for river and sea transportation of Ukraine (ports, terminals, inland waterways and coastal strips), in particular, titles of usage thereof, characteristics of management and protection.
