Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of Christian ethics as an academic discipline in the dynamics of its origin, formation and transformation. In the study process moral-ethical characteristics of reflection at different stages of development are determined. The author has analyzed the theoretical and methodological developments of the leading scientists engaged in this issue, and has determined specific aspects in understanding of the Christian moral education by Ukrainian researchers. In the research process models of inclusion of religious education into the state education system are systematized, and Ukrainian specificity is determined. The minimal conditions, compliance with which would improve the efficiency of teaching Christian ethics in the public education system are highlighted. Basing on the analysis of programs and manuals, principles that are the source for successful students' perception of ethical guidelines are determined.
