The work represents the peculiarities of the English electronic discourse "Elections 2010 - 2012 in Ukraine" and English electronic article as its genre, outlines controversial issues of metaphor theory, determines main donor domains, outlines typology of metaphor dynamics, characterizes appearing of new donor domains, fading of donor domains and expanding of the metaphoric representation within a domain via involving new terms. It also defines factors influencing the changes of metaphoric models in the English electronic mass-media.
