Essay

Thesis work is devoted to development of moisture-resistant PTFE-composites of tribotechnical application with minimum moisture absorption and high running abilities. Optimum performances of composite pressing process are defined by the mathematical methods of modelling. Influence of technological pressing process parameters on the structure, physical and mechanical and tribotechnical abilities of PTFE-composite is studied. It is shown that the developed PTFE-composites are much better than analogues in life level and also in strength and wear-resistance. Piston rings and packing seals of piston-type compressors 4ГМ 2,5У 2/3 250 are made of developed PTFE-material that successfully passed industrial tests at PJSC Sumy Frunze NPO and they are not worse than the best modern samples in performance data. Technological process of PTFE-composite production is developed.
