The dissertation is a scientific investigation of the administrative and legal status of public administration in the sphere of housing and communal services of Ukraine. The paper contains a number of theoretical principles and practical recommendations made as a result of a comprehensive study of the administrative and legal status of public administration in the field of housing and communal services of Ukraine. Analyzed the legal and institutional framework of the relevant authorities in the housing of foreign countries. Directions efficiency of the administrative and legal status of public administration in the sphere of housing and communal services of Ukraine by improvement of legislation in the given sphere.
