Bezzubenko A. The Activities of the International and Polish Non-governmental Organizations and Foundations in Poland in 1989 – 2004

The object of the research – the international and Polish non-governmental organizations. The dissertation purpose: to analyze the activities of the international and Polish non-governmental organizations and foundations in Poland in 1989 – 2004 in political, scientific, cultural, social life of the country. The methods: historical, logic, ordering; structurally-functional, comparative, historical-genetic, methods of the chronological analysis and expert estimations. Scientific novelty: as a result of the research conducted the author has determined the state of the topic scientific, has characterized the sources of the research; the complex of tasks studied in the thesis enables to get a clearer realization what the character, the forms and the methods of NGO activities were; the dynamics of the country’s third sector foundation and development, the peculiarities of the territorial division, division according to the spheres of the activity were shown, the degree of the Polish population involvement into NGO activity, their qualification and educational level were figured out on the basis of a group of sources; the priorities of Polish non-governmental organizations and foundations were determined in the thesis; the thesis proves that activization and legal recording of non-governmental organizations after 1989 are the sign of democratic formation and development of the country; polish non-governmental organizations are introduced as effective partners of the government in the sphere of modern strategy of Poland development realization in conducting social and political, social and cultural transformations in the country. Practical value of research: assembled in dissertation research the actual material will promote essential expansion of information space in the Ukrainian historical science and domestic study of Poland, the basic scientific ideas of research can be used for a spelling of works on the newest history of Poland, modern history of civil movements.
