Dissertation is dedicated to the complex investigation of theoretical and practical problems of criminal procedural guarantees of lawyer activity, analysis of Ukrainian legislation on issues of ensuring its independence and confidentiality. It provides the concept and types of criminal procedural guarantees in a lawyer activity. Investigated problematic issues concerning lawyer investigator (investigative) and non-public investigation (investigative) proceedings, application of measures of criminal proceedings, notification of lawyer about suspicion, providing of security, guaranteeing of lawyer's confidentiality.
