Essay

Object - process of designing an optical network based on the technology of WDM. Purpose - reducing the probability of bit errors in the transmission of information in optical networks based on WDM technology, and increasing the efficiency of the networks. Methods - optimization, mathematical statistics and probability theory, queuing theory, graph theory, simulation. Results -method of choice light path and destination of wavelengths, due to the inclusion in the solution of the phenomenon of four-wave mixing; method of solving the problem of choosing the light path and the appointment of wavelengths using optical converters based on a heuristic algorithm for the bee colony; method for solving the problem of dynamic light path selection and appointment of wavelengths; method for the synthesis of the radio access network based on the technology of " radio over fiber ", which allowed to design a network with a high level of scalability and reduce the cost their reconfiguration. It is introduced - in the research scientific work № DR 0111U002627; used in learning process in the Kharkiv national university of radio electronics.
