Ovsienko L. Typology of Axiological Strategies and Tactics in German-Language Dialogical Fictional Discourse

This thesis focuses on the typology of axiological strategies and tactics in German-language dialogical fictional discourse. Assessment is characterized in the research as a functional and sematic category, and a methodology of typifying axiological strategies and tactics has been elaborated. The thesis determines the types of communicative situations of assessment in German-language fiction of the 20th – 21st centuries. Axiological strategies and tactics have been classified according to the type of communicative situations; varieties of assessments with regard to the principle of persuasiveness have been singled out in fictional communicative situations. National cultural specificity of evaluation in the German-language fictional dialogical discourse has been elucidated
