For the first time comprehensively reviewed and analyzed issues concerning the interaction of religion and economics. Uses historical and philosophical and comparative methods in the study of their interactions and been singled out a number of fundamental theological issues related to the understanding of economic activity. The mentioned problems concerning the interpretation of the ratio of current models of religion and the economy as philosophical and socio-cultural aspects. The questions of the nature and features interpretations of "religious economy" in the context of understanding the values of Christian and other religions. The specific interaction between religion and economics in the historical movement of humanity, determined that human economic activity - it's needs, interests, and its system of spiritual value orientations. One can't interpret any economic change, unless it uses its own value setting. There is and there can be no "pure" economics, because it operates in the context of the semantic content of a certain age. People in their business transforms nature through assimilation, absorption and utilization of social, economic, religious experience, and past and present generations, covered in universally stereotypes of behaviour and thought. Analyzed conceptual rules that constitute the essence of national and cultural identity, the role of religious culture in business. Questions characteristics of economic activities of man, based on moral and religious grounds. Disclosed main features of the interaction of religion and economics in contemporary social and cultural space of Ukraine, where business and entrepreneurship are beginning to focus on value-religious dimensions of human existence.
