The object of study - the process of monitoring the technical condition of axle unit. Studies carried out on the basis of a systematic approach, using methods of the theory of probability and mathematical statistics, pattern recognition theory, methods of technical diagnostics and prediction. Obtained new evidence-based theoretical and experimental results that can be used in the technical content of railway rolling stock.
