Essay

The thesis is devoted to the actual problem of technical evaluation of concrete highway bridges, bridge resource definition at all stages of the life cycle, starting with the design. The mathematical prediction model of durability of reinforced concrete elements highway bridges at the design stage is developed. The model is based on the laws of kinetics of corrosion processes in concrete and reinforcement in structural elements of transport facilities and setting dependent elements service life of their design characteristics, environmental exposure conditions allowing for the maintenance of highway bridges in Ukraine. The algorithm for determining the target service life by the lifetime partial factor is proposed. The method estimates the resource concrete elements in the design of highway bridges, which allows to design elements with a specified service life, guarantee the required reliability level of design solutions at all stages of the life cycle, plan and optimize maintenance costs of construction.
